About Us

Our Story
A few years ago, we traded the busy city life for wide open skies, fresh air and muddy boots — and we’ve never looked back. With no farming experience and a whole lot of determination, we learned everything from scratch. It wasn’t always easy, but it was absolutely worth it.
Today, Blueberry Hills is not just where we live — it’s who we are. Our children are educated within nature, growing up alongside the land, the seasons and the animals. Our family extends well beyond our home and into the paddocks, where our sheep, goats, alpacas, chooks, cows and horse are very much part of our everyday life and our hearts.
As the years passed, the farm slowly grew into something far bigger than we ever imagined. What began as learning the basics became a way of life built on patience, resilience and deep respect for the land. Each season brought new lessons, challenges and small victories that shaped Blueberry Hills into what it is today.
One of the most powerful lessons we learned was just how deeply the animals depend on us. With that came a strong sense of purpose — knowing it’s our responsibility to give them the best life possible. That responsibility, and the connection that comes with it, is what truly makes it all worth it. We love our animals to bits, and every animal we own and breed is known to us as an individual, raised with ethics, patience and genuine love.
That connection flows through everything we do. It shapes how we care for the land, how we welcome guests, and how we choose to share this place with others. Whether someone is staying in our cottages, spending time on the farm, or learning more about our breeding practices, we hope they feel the honesty, intention and heart behind it all.
Blueberry Hills will always be first and foremost a home — a place built on care, responsibility and love. We’re grateful every day to live a life where these values guide us, and we’re proud to share this special place with those who find their way here.
