At Blueberry Hills on Comleroy, we love opening our farm to the community and sharing the land, the animals and the simple joy of farm life. Throughout the year, we host a range of small, thoughtful farm sessions upon request, designed to connect people of all ages with nature in a meaningful and relaxed way.
From educational farm visits and hands-on animal encounters to peaceful picnics by the dam, our events offer a chance to slow down, learn, connect and enjoy the beauty of our farm setting — surrounded by open paddocks, gentle animals and wide country skies.
Homeschool Farm Sessions
Our Homeschool Farm Sessions are designed to offer children a hands-on, educational experience in a real farm environment. During these sessions, students are introduced to our animals and learn about their needs, roles and how they contribute to the natural balance of the farm.
Children are encouraged to engage, ask questions and take part in supervised interactions with the animals, creating a deeper understanding of farming, responsibility and respect for living creatures. After the session, students are welcome to relax, enjoy their lunch and spend time outdoors in our peaceful farm setting.

Picnic by the Dam
Our Picnic by the Dam experience offers a relaxed and scenic way to enjoy time on the farm with family, friends or loved ones. Set beside our beautiful dam, this experience invites guests to slow down, unwind and take in the peaceful surroundings, with open paddocks, grazing animals and wide country skies as your backdrop.
Guests have access to a thoughtfully set-up picnic area overlooking the water, including a pizza oven, outdoor dining table, picnic tables, and a much-loved tree swing. There is also plenty of open space to explore, relax or simply sit and enjoy the view, making it ideal for both adults and children.
As the afternoon unfolds, the dam reflects the changing colours of the sky, creating a calm and memorable setting for shared meals and meaningful moments. Whether you’re celebrating something special or simply spending quality time together, this experience encourages connection — with nature, with each other, and with the slower rhythm of farm life.

Animal Encounter
Our Animal Encounter sessions invite guests to step into the heart of farm life and spend meaningful time with the animals that call Blueberry Hills home. Designed to be relaxed, hands-on and educational, these sessions are especially loved by families, children and animal lovers of all ages.
Guests receive feed cups and are guided through interactions with our chickens, goats, sheep, alpacas, cows and horse, learning about each animal’s personality, needs and role on the farm. There’s plenty of time to feed, pat and interact with the animals, ask questions, and enjoy being present in nature.
Our animals are calm, friendly and used to people, making photo and selfie opportunities a natural part of the experience. During baby season, guests may also have the chance to cuddle and hold baby animals under supervision, creating a truly memorable connection.
Beyond the fun, these encounters offer a chance to slow down and reconnect with nature, leaving guests with lasting memories of life on the farm.
Pricing: $100 for up to 4 guests, plus $25 per additional guest
